Tuesday's Sketch Challenge

- This was fun to do - thanks for the challenge!! My daughter loves the show Mad Men so I thought it would be fun to make her a "retro" card for Mother's day this year. So I found this fun image on a digital stamp site called Squigglefly - check them out they have lots of digital stamps for you to use!! Now of course I used my copic markers and a couple of paper companies, October Afternoon and Scenic Route. Hope you enjoy it!!

All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge

Okay now this REALLY was a CHALLENGE for me ...I do not have a sewing machine ...I have never sewn on a card before at all!! So I worked hard and thought hard and this is what I came up with. I used a Crafter's Workshop template and pierced the holes and got out the Bazzill needle and thread :), sewed around the image and on the side of the card - which does not show up as good in the photo! It was kind of fun and maybe I will do it again some day on another card.
Supplies used:
Crafter's Workshop template
Bazzill thread
C.C. Design stamp - I love these!!
Basic Grey paper
........ and copics!!

Taylored Expressions Challenge

This was a fun challenge although as I am feeling just a bit under the weather today it took me way too long to figure out what I wanted to do. I thought this cute cheerleader just wanted to be on a card that could be used to encourage a friend someday!!
Supplies used:
Hero Arts stamp
Basic Grey paper - Lemonade line
Cuttlebug embossing folder the solid colour squares were embossed and two were sanded and one I just ran a chalk ink over for colour.
...and yes of course Copics!!
Phrase was done on computer as I did not have a stamp that said what I wanted for this card!

And again....

And this one is for my daughter for her birthday which is the same day as my oldest grandson's - what a great gift he was!!! I love this new Penny Black stamp and the paper is from Upsy Daisy. I had fun doing some water color type coloring with my copics for this card to get a kind of Victorian look for her card.
I am looking forward to a weekend of working at Camp Cropping here in Calgary and time with Sherie who introduced me to copics and certified me!!! And been coloring ever since very happily.

Back Again.....

This is one for my oldest grandson who turns 7 tomorrow and is having a "space" party this weekend. So I thought this would be fun for him. Lucky me as he was here all last week so I did get to give hin his gift and hugs in person!! The image is a digital stamp and will have to look up where I got it from later and of course colored with copics!!!
