Well when I saw what had been made there seemed to be a strong mermaid theme going on and I did not want to ruin that!! So I quickly got a mermaid digi stamp from C.C. Designs who is called "Coral". What fun to colour and to add glitter to her tail.... yes I crossed boundaries by adding the "you're fintastic" - but oh well I think it suits the card :). The paper that really suits is from Imaginisce and the line is "Splash Dance" I also used one of my cuttlebug embossing folders and inked the bubbles to give a bit of water effect behind her. The shapes were cut from Spellbinder dies which are so good for cards. And yes I had fun colouring her with copic markers!! The phrase is a stamp from C.C. Designs too. Hope you like her!!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge
I love the hedgehogs!! This was fun to do make and fun to colour, especially the blues for the watering can - I used BG32 and BG72 from my copic markers. I also really like the small butterfly punches to just add that extra dimension to my cards. The smaller butterfly is a Marvy punch and the other is from Martha Stewart.
Other supplies used:
stamp - Penny Black "yearning"
phrase - Cloud 9 sentiment sticker
paper - Basic Grey 'Olivia"
...already told you copics :)

But it has been so fun to have the time off to get going on some of these challenges again and do the double duty of getting some family cards made too!! I had been so busy teaching copic classes in Calgary that there was not much time for some of my own cards to be completed - but YEAH for holiday time!! Thanks Mercy for this challenge!! I enjoyed it even if I did turn the sketch around...

Just some summer fun!!!
Here are a couple of fun cards I made for a class that I was teaching and want to share them with you, maybe you have some summer cards that you need to make for someone special and hopefully these can give you some ideas!! Both of the images are C.C. Design stamps which I think are adorable! A little Diamond Glaze added to the surfboard makes it stand out more and look a little more real. The palm tree is cut out on the Cricut from the Stretch Your Imagaination cartridge. For the surfer girl the paper is from Fancy Pants and the other card is Bo Bunny paper. Happy Summer to you all!!
